Awash with light

Untouched since the 70s, this Caulfield townhouse recently underwent a radical transformation to become two semi-detached homes awash with natural light, soft pastel tones and rich jewel accents.

To accentuate both homes’ rear gardens with north facing aspect, Lovelight selected translucent roller blinds, offering a partial view to the outdoors and inviting filtered natural light into the main living areas.

Sheer s-fold curtains coupled with blockout roller blinds were selected for both homes’ bedrooms to provide the perfect balance between sunlight and privacy.

To elevate the flooring throughout the homes, splashes of colour were introduced to the cushions, linen and formal seating.

These images by Nicole England show how natural light amplifies the dreamy colours in both spaces, creating a light mood and retreat-like feel.
