For over four and a half decades, Omnicon Constructions has been synonymous with high-end architectural marvels, carving out spaces that resonate with quality, uniqueness, and meticulous attention to detail. One such journey embarked on by Omnicon was Cantala Ave, a project designed to intrigue and delight at every turn. Dave Skurnik from Omnicon shares how "with a full array of finishes, textures, and bespoke details, the collaboration with the clients, project team, and contractors was nothing short of magical."

The challenge of renovating a heritage home to create something utterly unique was met with enthusiasm and skill. Integrating modern elements while preserving the historical essence required a delicate balance and innovative solutions. Dave adds, "Blending the old with the new, accommodating for services, and ensuring the perfect fit for curtains and blinds at every corner was a challenge we relished."

Among the myriad of standout features, the master suite offers breathtaking ocean views, and the sunken lounge with its calming green hues invites tranquillity and introspection. As Dave put it, “the team had a lot of fun on the project sampling details, testing new products.  The result is an exceptional project that can never be replicated.”

In parallel, Bayley Ward, led by Jacinda Jones, approaches design with a playful and adventurous spirit, particularly for private residential projects. "We aim to provide a relaxed and playful home for families, one that's bold, colourful, and embraces the joy of living," Jacinda shares. Inspired by the 70's vibe, the project with the Cantala Ave family was a journey of discovery, friendship, and a celebration of vintage qualities within the modern design.

Window furnishings play a pivotal role in Bayley Ward's designs, serving not just functional purposes but also enhancing the aesthetic appeal of a space. "We consider the purpose, durability, and aesthetics of window treatments right from the beginning, ensuring they're an integral part of the design narrative," Jacinda explains. 

One of her favourite features is the emerald green sunken lounge, where the blend of carpet and upholstery merges seamlessly with the garden through a large picture window, creating a space of light and harmony.

The collaboration with Lovelight has been instrumental in bringing both the designers vision and the builders finished product to life. Dave from Omnicon describes how, "Lovelight's approach to each project, from site measure to installation, is marked by their exceptional service and attention to detail. We're excited for many more years of collaboration."

This partnership between Omnicon Constructions, Bayley Ward, and Lovelight exemplifies the seamless blend of construction expertise, imaginative design, and window furnishing finesse. Together, they don't just build houses; they craft homes that tell stories, evoke emotions, and stand as testaments to collaborative creativity and architectural excellence.
