Capturing a balance between the robust, enduring quality of concrete and the soothing embrace of greenery is no small feat. Yet, Robson Rak Architects & Interiors, revered for their mastery in high-end residential homes, achieve just this with one of their latest projects; ‘Evergreen.’

The design was envisioned as a 'forever home' for a bustling young family of five. The brief was clear: a well-built, superior-quality home radiating light, offering green vistas at every turn, facilitating cross-ventilation, and allowing ample zones for the family's harmonious coexistence. 

Concrete, chosen for its robust and solid attributes, forms the backbone of this architectural marvel. Yet, it's the abundant greenery that truly brings the space alive, softening the solid structures, and promoting a rejuvenating, fresh ambience. This meticulous juxtaposition offers the homeowners a daily visual retreat - a deliberate choice by the architects to consistently provide lush green spaces, a core design principle in every Robson Rak home.

We might be biased but we can't help but notice the exquisite window furnishings that adorn the property. While the clients were clear about the functionality and privacy aspects of each window treatment, it was Robson Rak's expertise that directed the fabric and colour palette selection. Prioritising quality, function, and durability, they then delve into the personality of each room, understanding that fabric colours and types substantially influence the atmosphere and experience within each room.

In collaboration with Lovelight, the selection process was streamlined and thorough. Clients were guided through the experience, with visits to Lovelight's showroom allowing for an opportunity to touch and feel the chosen fabrics. Meticulous planning followed, as on-site meetings between Robson Rak and Lovelight determined the direction of curtain runs, drops, and potential integration challenges with the building's design. Throughout this, Lovelight's commitment to precision and excellence mirrored the expectations for such an esteemed project.

Emerging trends, as pointed out by Chris Rak, lie in the vibrant play of colours and the intricate layering of fabrics and textures. Indeed, one can see this thematic approach elegantly woven throughout the property. Each space within the home doesn't merely exist; it tells a story, inviting occupants and visitors into a dance of light, texture, and comfort. 

In essence, Evergreen stands as a testament to architectural ingenuity, where challenges are embraced, beauty is crafted, and the home becomes a living, breathing entity, perfectly designed for the lives unfolding within its walls.
