Golden Maxwell

As interior designers, seeing home transformations come to life is enormously satisfying. We recently had the pleasure of working closely with Design by Golden and S&K Group on one such project. With a brief to deliver a captivating, visceral narrative with a limited footprint, the selection of window furnishings was crucial.

This previously renovated 1960’s home comes to life with stylish modern furnishings. Triple-Pinch Pleat 100% linen sheer & block-out curtains with Face fitted Vanda decorative tracks were used throughout this project to compliment the bold, eye-catching artworks and furniture.

The role of window furnishing is not always to take centre stage, creating the perfect backdrop allows everything else in the room to shine. In this case, the gorgeous selection of furniture by Design by Golden which includes iconic Redondo Armchair by Moroso from Hub furniture alongside a custom-made Ottoman in Kelly wearslter fabric from Grazio&co.

The use of soft natural fibres (100% Linen) was also carefully considered to help contrast the linear joinery used throughout the home. ‘The curtains assist in softening the rooms and providing some sun control and privacy’, says Ryan Lewis.
