 Simone's journey in sales spans nearly two decades, with the last ten years dedicated to honing her expertise in the window furnishings industry within Melbourne and Sydney's vibrant markets. "The evolution of design and technology in this space has been fascinating," Simone reflects, "It's shaped my appreciation for aesthetics and quality in both professional and personal settings." 

A typical day for Simone is as dynamic as her career trajectory. Starting with a morning run to clear her mind and energize, she then dives into a whirlwind of site visits, meetings, and negotiations. Whether she's on the move or in the office, Simone is known for her enthusiasm and multitasking prowess - often seen pacing while deep in conversation with her clients (extra steps!) or thoughtfully planning her next strategic move while enjoying her multiple lunch options.

One of the highlights of Simone's time at Lovelight so far has been her involvement with The Standard Hotel project. "It's exhilarating to work with a brand and a design team I've always admired," says Simone. The synergy between the hotel brand, the accommodating builder, and a client who values design and quality has made this project a fulfilling experience.

However, not all projects are without their hurdles. Simone reflects on a recent unique challenge, striving for a green star rating in environmental design. This endeavour required an unprecedented level of collaboration and innovation. "Navigating the complexities to meet the green star rating was daunting, but the collective triumph made it incredibly rewarding," Simone recounts.

The reason we wanted to feature Simone this month is due to her passion for people and the relationships she builds. "I thrive on connecting with others, and nothing beats the camaraderie I've found here at Lovelight," she shares. It's this collaborative spirit, coupled with a relentless drive to achieve, that makes Simone an invaluable asset to the Lovelight team.

As Simone continues to chart Lovelight's course in the commercial sector, her focus remains on leveraging her vast network, industry knowledge, and the strength of the Lovelight team.
